The University of Turin is divided into 12 faculties, these are the Faculties of Agriculture, Economics, Education, Foreign Languages, Law, Letters and Philosophy, Mathematics (Physical and Natural Sciences), Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, and Political Science.
Faculty of Agriculture
The Faculty of Agriculture is divided into several departments offering different courses in forest and land management like floriculture, gardens and landscape, forestry and agronomy.
Faculty of Economics
The Faculty of Economics is comprised of eight departments offering degree programmes in Economics.
Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education has six departments offering degree programmes in education.
Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature
The Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature was instituted in July 1997. It offers a professional and innovative curriculum that provides the widest opportunities for the national and international labor market in the fields of foreign languages and literature.
Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law offers specialisations in public and civil service fields. It aims to develop students who can work in public service, international organisations and private legal organisations.
Faculty of Letters and Philosophy
The Faculty of Letters and Philosophy is located in the Sciences of Communication building in Via Greens, 25. It offers degree programmes in communications, culture, and philosophy.
Faculty of Mathematical, Physical, and Natural Sciences
The Faculty of Mathematical, Physical, and Natural Sciences is comprised of 12 departments. Some of the degree programmes it offers are Chemical Analysis, Mathematics and Informatics.
Faculty of Medicine and Surgery
The task of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery is to supply its students with the knowledge to obtain a degree in the various medical courses it offers like Internal Medicine and Neuroscience.
Faculty of Pharmacy
The Faculty of Pharmacy prepares its students for the professional field of pharmacy. Aside from knowing the requirements and correct drug prescriptions, the Faculty trains its students to know the natural toxics and the risk assessment from exposure to drugs and toxins presents in the atmosphere.
Faculty of Political Sciences
The Faculty of Political Sciences was founded in 1969 by illustrious personalities such as Luigi Firpo and Norberto Bobbio. It is comprised of five departments.
Faculty of Psychology
The Faculty of Psychology prepares its students for the State Examination for professional psychologists.
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was founded in 1769 by Carl Emanuele III. It is located in the Grugliasco centre along with the Faculty of Agriculture.
